My husband and I have been ttc; I have been pretty regular (give or take a few months). My last period was Feb. 16; we've been following ovulation calendar..now I am 3 days late and am too scared to take a preg. test because every time I do I start THAT DAY!!!! Just would like some feedback, thanks!

3 days isn't too early. I took the test the day after each period was due. I waited in anticipation and finally after three years of trying, we saw two lines. I was so excited. I remember 36 months in a row of wishing and trying and anticipation and then disappointment. I found it was easier to take the test and see a negative, then to wait longer hoping and still seeing a negative three days later. Get it over with and just take the test. If you find out it is positive, that is three days you just wasted that you could have been shopping!!!

I got my hopes up just like you about 3 months ago. I was 2 days late and thought we made some progress in having another child. I took a test the next morning and started my period that night. If you have been keeping track of when you ovulate then you might have a really good chance of being pregnant. I pray that you are. Children are a wonderful blessing. Take a test!

I was only like a few days late when I went to the doctor and I got a pregnancy test. I was only 4 weeeks pregnant! Just wait a week or two and if no period then take a test.

I too was trying to get pregnant and when i did i knew i even took one of those test that tell you five days before you miss your period so no i dont think it is to early!! good luck go take your test i hope your not disappointed

yes 3 days is to early to get excited i have been late 30 days a couple of times already

I'd say wait another 4 days and then get excited and take a test; you don't want to get your hopes up!

hey hunny,
i know it is harrrrd to wait, but pregnancy tests can be pricy to "waste"...so i would wait it out ofr a few more days..this happened to me a few months ago and i was really really let down when i saw the negative test..so just wait it out, and if you think you are having symptoms...check out this website: www.twoweekwait.com it REALLY helped me!! best of luck and i hope this helps!! baby dust to you and me!

ummm, i would wait at least a week after your period was supposed to visit honey. no use in making yourself a wreck when there hasn't been enough time for the embryo to implant.

yes it's too early, but you might be pregnant if you're folloing the ovulation calendar
