Since 95% of people will say LT...I'm assuming you have your answer...so how about the future? I'm excited to see what Maurice Drew can do in Jacksonville, he had one hell of a rookie year over there. (Taking nothing from Bush...but damn.)

all time? to hard to answer again. currently playing? LT. the guy is this generations barry sanders. when the bots suck he is on his game and at the top of league in all stats. when the bolts are on, he sets an NFL record. he is gonna go down as one of the all time greats. that being said if the bucs would allow Cadillac to do what he does he could dominate the league as well. the guy is a lot like bo jackson. he is a beautiful blend of speed and power. he can crash right through the line break a few tackles and then outrun you all the way down the field. to bad the bucs dont seem to want to run the ball a lot.

LaDanian Tomlinson is by far the best running back this generation has ever seen. From his quick moves, to catching passes out of the flat, even throwing a few TDs, the man can do it all. If you are referring to the NFL Draft, then it is Adrian Peterson. Although he has been plauged with injuries during his college career Peterson remains the fastest and most talented back in the draft pool.

theres no question that LT is the best back in the nfl right now...
as for the draft, it is not adrian peterson. peterson is good, no doubt, but he runs straight up. thats why he was injured in college and will get hurt even more in the nfl.
the best back thats coming out is tony hunt from penn state. he runs a 4.4, runs low, has good hands, no personality issues, a great work ethic, and more importantly, can take an nfl beating. he was the workhorse for the nittany lions, sometimes racking up 40 carries. he will be the best back out of this draft in the long run.

I think enough people have said LT so far, so i'm gonna go with some of the guys who are a step behind. I think Shaun Alexander's a great running back, I think Dominick Davis will keep getting better, I think Carnell Williams is gonna be a star of tomorrow, and Larry Johnson is great as well.
But you can't go past LT.

I want some of what Josh and KB are smokin'.
Current RB stud is none other than LT. There is no one even close to his talent level! NO ONE!!!
Bush may be able to reach that level, but it will probably take him several years in the Saints scheme to do so.
Best in NFL history? I go with Walter Payton or Grange.

Best Ever: Jim Brown
He was big by todays standards, playing at 6'2" 232 lbs. Averaged 5.2 yards per carry. No one else has ever averaged more than 5 in a career. He also averaged the most rushing yards per games played, most tds per games played and had the TD record until Jerry Rice broke it in 1994 I believe.
Listen to what the guys who had to play against him said.

Right now? Without a shadow of a doubt, it's LaDainian Tomlinson. He's a freakin' rockstar!
Back then? Jim Brown most definitely. Emmitt Smith, too.
