I have a case of about 700 baseball cards. Only a couple football cards mixed in. One Nolan Ryan complet eset was appraised at $30. Another Nolan Ryan set from Advil appraised at $30. A single Emitt Smith card at $10. A couple of various Sonic and Whataburger cards at $1 each. Thats about 50 cards... what would you ask for the whole thing?

That's a really hard question to answer given the sparse amount of information supplied. What year were the cards produced and which company produced the cards? What is the condition of the cards?

Usually, a random group of 700 cards isn't likely to go for even $100 unless there are some rookie cards that are in very nice condition.

If you want an estimate, go to a card shop and bring the cards with you. If they are interested, they'll offer you some money for some of the higher value cards, but they are most likely going to offer you half price (at the most).

To get a true estimate, you need to have somebody knowledgeable look at the cards. Good luck!

Depending on how quickly you want to get rid of them, Id suggest the following, if you want it done fast, look up a local sports memorabilia or shop that sells the cards, they often buy someones "lot" of cards, but offers a low price because they wont go through them in a rush... Now.. if you want to get the true worth of the cards, I'd go buy a Beckett, or a magazine that tells you the values of each card... then make a list of what you have, their values and what you want, and take the cards with that list to them, and they should make you an offer.

apparently, you have nothing spectacular in this case. from the info you gave, Nolan Ryan pretty much makes the case, otherwise you would have noted more stars, and rookies, or something else to go on. you will be lucky to get $100. also depends on the shape of the cards...good luck...

Well, someone would want to be assured the quality of the card. Are it's edges frayed or bent, etc. You might want to check out e-Bay or buy/borrow from library Beckett's Baseball Card Almanac. It's very informative. Good luck!

I'd go close to $100-$150, depending on the amount of cards and the quality of the player whose cards you own.
