I live in Salem, Oregon and have not found good sushi here. It's dull and scary looking.
Oddly, the best Sushi I've had in the surrounding area was in a restaurant at the Portland, Oregon airport!

The nearest Chinese resturant to your house... cuz #1, it's the nearest place to go, and #2, the resturants nearest to houses are the best cuz There's plenty of ingredients, and the ingredients are always fresh!!

Musashi in Southfield MI is great.
Minato in Troy is a hidden gem too and they have $1 nigiri's!
