On the back of my fender strat on the plastic cover, the spot where a sticker used to be is a cleaner white than the the rest of the backing. Is there anyway i can clean it?

The laquer finish has probably yellowed, and the sticker spot hasn't. The only way to fix it would be to strip it down and re-finish it. Just leave it alone if no one can see it.It might ruin the value of the guitar.

Sorry but the paint job on your guitar is like any other kind of paint...it fades in sunlight. The only real thing you can do is get a new paint job. Another thing to look at to be on the safe side is if its been sitting in the window for 5 yrs it could possibly have a slight warped neck...because its made of wood and NOT PLASTIC. I wouldnt really worry about it, fading and scratches give a good guitar character. Ever see Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar he played before he died? Man he could wail on his late 60's American made Fender Strat. Hope this helped.

yeah, go to a music shop and buy some stuff to clean it. The sticker either took the paint off or the things filthy. Either way, it's an easy fix.
