Tell the truth! what would you do?

Have you ever been in a situation where some1 ur talking to has a boogie hanging from their nose? A piece of food in their front tooth,or their fly is open? something embarrassing.... Would you have the guts to tell them? If so, how would you tell them? I wouldn't have the guts to.

If the persom is a jerk, I won't say a thing. I might follow them around though, and enjoy a longer laugh.

Yes, because if it happened to me I would want someone to tell me in a nice way.......I would probably say something simple like "Hey, you've got something right there" and point to their nose or you could smile and say "I know that's happened to me before and it's so embarrassing! I'd rather know so I can fix it...." I know it might be more difficult if you are shy or if the person is a stranger but I think the more times you are gently honest with someone the easier it gets....

I'd tell them. I'd want someonw to tell me.

Here's why...Common courtesy. All you have to do is pull the person aside and say, "I just thought I's tell you that [embarassing thing here]. I hope you don't mind, but I know I'd want someone to tell me." And if it's a freind or someone you know, that should be a hell of a lot easier.

And they're usually VERY thankful you brought it to their attention.

Truth be told, being a female...I HATE (and rarely) tell a guy his fly is down. Even though it may be very obvious to see without really looking, I never want them to think I'm checking out their groin area...

I would tell them. For the fly I'd just tell them something like hey dude, your front door is open. As for the other two, I'd give them a napkin and say something like ya got something hanging from your nose.

I've had this happen several times, and I never had the guts to tell them. I figure that someone else will tell them anyway, so why should I.

Just tell them, "You need to wipe your nose." Or ask, "Did you have spinach for lunch?" They'll get the drift.

Keep in mind that you might have something in your teeth one day. It happens to most everyone. Wouldn't you want someone to tell you if there was a piece of spinach between your front teeth?

Sure, just say something like, "Dude you got something on your nose," or "There's something stuck in your tooth."

Seriously, wouldn't you rather have someone tell you rather than walking around all day looking like a moron? I had lipstick on my teeth during a meeting and after one of the guys I work with told me - I was P.O.'ed.

I'd tell them, it would be more embarassing to have whatever it is for a long time than to be told about it at the right moment

I tell them. What is so embarassing about telling them they have something embarassing hanging from them? Wouldn't you want someone to inform you if you had that? I know I would.

Absolutely I tell them. I especially have to tell them about the 'boogie' because it grosses me out and I start to gag and such, lol.

I'd tell them! I'd much rather suffer the embarrassment WITH them, than, have them think i was cruel not to tell them.....
ie; there was a customer in our business...his fly was open...thought to self...how do "I" tell him, without it looking like i was "LOOKING"...well, i just said, hey, your zipper fell...he was soo cool about it, he said, darn! you can't find any thing that will do a full days work!!!!
it was all over! it wasn't like his "thang" was peeping out!
