In real-life, he's had off and on problems with his knees. I'm not sure what triggered it this time. For the show, Chavo hit him repeatedly with a chair in an "I Quit" match.

Chavo Guerreo beat his knee with a steel chair while he was hung upside down from a ladder type thing. Umaga then jump on his knee from the top rope so now Rey is on a religious mission!

1st! it was stupid Chavo attacked Rey with damn Steel hair on his knee...while Rey Rey is upside down in the steel post ladder in the back of the ring.....Chavo hit rey 3times in the knee...and then Rey says I Quit!!! bcuz seriously how can Rey get out in that thing??!!! its too hard to survive for a small man in that situation.....and then NEXT..it was The pathetic psycho super heavyweight samoan bulldozer Umaga!!! with the stupid Vince McMahon Umaga disrespectfully attack Rey mysterio in his own hometown of San Diego,Ca....where umaga delivered the Samoan Bulldozer head hit to Rey Mysterio....while Mysterio is Helpless!!! and then after that....Umaga delivered the Samoan Drop to the Injured Knee of Rey....Rey was unconcious in that time.....why is it that nobody helped Rey in that time???!!! and then Rey was strechered again defenseless.......so when Rey comes back this June or July Rey will hunt for two guys!!!! Umaga and Chavo!!!! Rey will be back maybe on Raw and hunt for Umaga and the Intercontinental title....get well soon Rey!!!!

WELL SEE REY HURT HIS KNEE WAY BACK IN WRESTLEMANIA 22 AND HE'S HAD 3 SURGERYS ALREADY IN THE SAME KNEE... SO TO GET HIS KNEE CHECKED OUT AND STUFF THEY PUT CHAVO AND REY IN AN I QUITE MATCH... CHAVO HIT REY WITH A CHAIR SEVERAL TIMES AND TORE HIS ACL...... POOR GUY... I JUSS CANT WAIT FOR HIM TO COME BACK!! =]
