Don't just tell them that you'll work harder, tell them EXACTLY what you'll do, i.e. go to bed a couple of hours earlier, ask the teacher for extra help, get a tutor, spend more time on the homework. Concrete things like that are much more helpful than vague promises that you'll do better

I'm sorry you're having a hard time in school- that sucks. If your parents are strict, you really want to prepare them for the news. Just let them know that you aren't doing well, but that you want to do better and are trying very hard to improve. And then try very hard! Ask your parents for help- maybe they can pay for tutoring, or take you to a doctor if lack of sleep is interfering with your health. Probably the main problem is that you don't get enough sleep so you can't concentrate. I have the same problem. It helps to drink coffee in the mornings, or even soda, and just try to get to sleep earlier!
If you really want to calm your parents down, wait for the opportune moment to tell them. After you do well in something else, or whenever they're in a good mood. Good luck!

I would sit the two of them down together and tell them. Better the news come from you than as a surprise from the school or the report card.
Let them know you are just as concerned about this as they are. Tell them you want to fix this. Perhaps see the teacher before telling your parents, so then you can tell your parents that you met with the teacher and are actively trying to fix the problem.
Let them know you are also disappointed in yourself and are very sorry if they feel let down.
Involve them and ask if your parents can help you too.
I hope everything works out! You sound like you are concerned and want to fix this.

Most universities would possibly not kick you out for dangerous grades. My neighbor in tuition stayed for 7 years and stored failing however he might say some thing like he had a household hindrance and thats why he failed that semester. If you appear round you must be in a position to uncover anybody to wave the penalty for the semester, however do not preserve failing in the event that they help you again in. Try to get the penalty waved first.

The best thing you can do is just tell them. They will be more angry if you keep it from them. Tell them that you don't understand it and need help.
