For some reason lately I have loved listening to songs with the piano instead of guitar for the instrumentals. Anyone know of any good artists that make good music with the piano?
Some background about my taste
I like Rap, Hip Hop, Rock and that's the main situation, but anything you think I may like post it up. Thanks

Alicia Keys definatly. amazing music.
also try some Augustana, city and colour, and James blunt but it's a bit softer. Blue october has some good ones too

If you also like soft rock and movie themes some of the time, check out Richard Clayderman. He plays very expressive piano with full orchestral background. He's German, but his CD's are available on this side of the pond. Find some audio examples on the Internet.

Coldplay have some sick songs with piano Marvin Gaye (trouble Man and Inner city blues), John Legend, thats all i can think of off the top of my head.

check out the song Butterflies and Hurricanes by Muse. near the end there is this wickedly mindblowing piano part. or search it for a live video of it on youtube, cause its so much fun to watch him play it

tori amos & fionna apple are two of mine. The piano is very evident in their music, some might label it chick rock or a sub set of alternative....might not be your thing...but then again, it might.

the fray and coldplay are the 2 mainstream artists that come to mind. i would check out cool hand luke and monarch too. they are AMAZING
