Many have been through the same thing as you. It's going to be tough and there are going to be alot of things you will have to deal with that hurts like hell but remember it will get better. It's going to take about 3 years before you feel like being a part of the world again. Then it will be another couple of years before you can start having good feelings about someone else.I have been divorced 6 years and I still have a bad day once in awhile. Some things will never go completely away.

You are still under your ex's spell. You need to accept that she wasn't the one for you. After two years, it's time to quit dwelling on what went wrong. You need to kill off the old you and start rebuilding yourself. Make yourself into the man a woman would die to have. Change your attitude, your look, and your mannerisms. It's not that hard to do. Make small changes that you see a difference right away. Clothing, hair style, a different car, exercise to build muscle mass, and anything else to do with exterior appearance. At the same time, look at your inside to develop your sensitivity to what women want and need. Start listening more to what they actually say - pay very close attention because they are easier to read than you think. Become the perfect gentleman and build those habits until they are second nature to you. You will find yourself opening doors for every woman you meet, saying excuse me and stepping aside instead of walking in front of them, and offering your place in line to them at grocery stores. It's these things we don't think about unless it becomes a learned response of courtesy. When it gets to dating you do the same things but add taking their hand to help them out of a car, sliding their chair out for them to sit down, helping them on with their jacket, looking them in the eyes instead of the chest while talking to them, bringing them flowers, satisfying their sexual needs before your own, and learning to listen to them as well as talk. Become a believer in romance and the art of romance and you will find that the next woman that you actually become commited to will kill anyone that tries to take you away from her. Women love to be treated as queens because most men have forgotten how to do it. It also will give you some pride in making yourself a better man. Trust me I have felt that pride now for going on 18 years. Casanova wasn't desired so much for how many women he romanced, but in the ways that he used to do it.

Yes, realize you picked a BAD woman and thank GOD you arent paying child support on 7 kids as well as alimony. Also be honest with yourself, was there any complaints she had as to why she left you?Or did she just find someone she liked better? If you still cannot get over this, seek counseling.
