I've decided to live somewhere in thecountry, woodsy area like Oregon, away from civilization and write children's books...

Good choice to live in Oregon. It is a great place. Secondly, do you know anything about writing children's books? Do you have a background to write for children? May I suggest you do a lot of research before you begin. It is not a simple task to write a book and get it published. If you are interested in a recent children's book just published which became a major project go to Amazon.com and find "Here Comes Albert", by Allan MacLaren. Good luck!!

I always thought I would be living in a cave somewhere but lately I have been rethinking this idea and now I am not so sure. I love your idea of living somewhere away from civilization and writing childrens books, sounds like a lovely way to enjoy life.

If I ever get to retire (I'm only 28 right now) I would like to travel the country in a motorhome with my husband, spend time with my children and grandchildren, and learn how to cook (HA!)

A quiet life in the country where I can go for long walks and not be concerned with the hustle and bustle of the city. I might even start to work on my stamp collection again :-)

I just retired 3 months ago and I go where I want or do what I want, whenever I want. Can't beat it!!
