Well it could happen in the next few weeks or right before you go into labor. Trust me you will know when the baby drops.. it will feel like a huge pressure hit your pelvic area and you will see that your stomach is lower as well. Moving around will be a bit more difficult too.. but you should be ok. Good luck and Congrats!!

In the first pregnancy a baby can engage any time from about 36 weeks and beyond. Sometimes in later pregnancies it doesn't happen until 40 weeks. When it happens, you'll probabaly feel a heaviness, like you've got a coconut hanging between your legs, which can be pretty uncomfortable if you're standing or walking for a long period of time. You can get tingling sensations from the baby pressing on your cervix too. It's not really more difficult to move around, because the baby has dropped, it's relieved alot of that pressure on your lungs and ribcage. It can be uncomfortable to sit down suddenly though.

you know mine didn't happen for a bit too.though i was just carrying low to begin with and then my doctor told me that my baby had dropped and it felt no different to me.The pressure was already there and my baby was 8-9 i was only 105 pounds when i got pregnant so all the extra weight and stuff was just awful!!But totally worth it-i have an 8 mos old baby boy. Some women will notice the difference drastically and some won't either way the pressure and ability to get around is going to get harder around this stage anyway.Good luck and congrats.

It is usually around 4 weeks before your due date that your baby will "drop". You will probably feel some increased pressure lower in your pelvis, you will probably find it harder to get into a comfortable position when sitting and sleeping and you most likely will need to pee more often. Good luck with your new little one when they arrive!

Mine both dropped around 33 weeks. I think this was a bit early. It's not something you will notice all at once...you will gradually notice that it becomes more painful to sit...more pressure in your pelvic region. Very heavy.

you will feel a lot of pressure on your pelvic. more than what you have know. right now what you are feeling is pressure on the bladder and organs. You will be able to tell the difference. It usually happens one - two weeks before birth. It could even happen only a couple days before. But you will kow. You won't feel it happen, but you will be able to feel it once it happens.
