I was born in Sydney, Australia and now live in Canberra (the Capital of Australia even though everyone overseas THINKS it's Sydney!) I wouldnt ever live in Sydney, way to many problems...dont get me wrong great place to visit and very beautiful harbour...just try and use the half a ss public transport and get anywhere on time!! I pity the people that work there!! Canberra on the other hand is a really nice place to live, it's sort of a huge country town. We dont all quite know everyone, but you can be sure that someone you know knows a certain person. It takes me 20 minutes to drive into the city everymorning and parking only costs me $8 a day as opposed to the $47 parking for THREE hours I once found out about the hard way in Sydney!!
Oh and we have politicians...which is really the only down side of Canberra. Guess thats exactly the same as most capital cities huh?

I was born and raise in a small Texas town got married at 16 went to Aviano Italy , New Mexico, Austin then after 11yrs of moving about I came back home and live just 6 blocks from the house I grew up in.

I was born in St. Mike's in Toronto in 1948.
I moved to Victoria BC in 82 and have only been back for a few visits.
I am just not city material any more.
I miss our cottage land in Haliburton County on our little freshwater lake more than Toronto.
But I don't miss the mosquitos and blackflies. Or the cockroaches.

I was born in Yellowknife down in the Northwest Territories but that's only because my town didn't have a hospital. So I was raised somewhere else and that's where I live now (After being away for 10 years).

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada. Moved when I was 3 to Cali. Moved when I was 10 to Oklahoma, and have moved twice within Oklahoma since then, once when I was 13 and when I was 19. Military Brat, what can I say.

Always lived in Western New York my whole life. I've only been outside of New York State twice in my life, once to Toronto Canada and once to VA and I hated both trips.

I was born in Pleasant Hill California, near San Fran. I moved to Newcastle California near Sac in 2003 when I was 14. I don't miss it at all, it was full of yuppies.
