A woman and a man get into an accident... The man's brain falls out undamaged, but his body is demolished... The woman's nervous system shuts down, but her body is merely injured... They are both dead... Surgeons undergo an operation inserting the mans brain to the woman's body... the operation is successful... who do you think wakes up and why.... This is a philosophical question, so I am looking for an answer with reasoning

after a few minutes the brain is not supplied with fresh O2 & nutrient, it will be degradated and with today technology even if the operation is successfull , the memory would likely gone.
so when they are awaken, they will be a new human being.
since the gender is hormonal, they will be awaken as female.

Well since the brain stores all the thoughts, memories and other junk, it would be the man that wakes up. The real question is...now that he is in a womans body...will he only like men now?
