grapes/cherries do you feel entitled to eat when you go shopping and pass through the produce section?? Isn't that one of the perks of shopping?
As long as I don't pull out a picnic blanket, what's the prob??

What you're talking about really is theft.
If you really want to be entertained, all the grocery stores around here have times of the week when there are samples in nearly every aisle and cooking demonstrations going on. (Seriously, one of them is nearly circus-like.)
My personal favorite has a cute girl that hands out samples in the wine department on Friday nights.
Plan a little, you can get MORE and BETTER food...and not risk getting tossed from the store.

I've gone shopping, and put a package of grapes in my cart, only to realize I've eaten them all by the time I get to the checkout !

None, because even if you taste a sweet one or two that doesn't mean the rest of the bag is good and it is kind of like stealing.

I would say you can eat one to get an idea of the flavor but not to make a meal out of it.

I usually just taste the grapes to make sure they are sweet !

They aren't clean in the first place, do you have any idea how many people have touched them? Yuck!! Want some? Buy them and wash them thoroughly!!!

it sucked because i only had one.
