Sean Connery was by far the best looking Bond. Roger Moore? He was ok. This new guy Daniel Craig in "Casino Royale" he looks like a toad? Probably not a nice thing to say because he's a good actor but he doesn't look the part. Matt Damon or George Clooney would have looked and played the part! Even Brad Pitt would have made a cool Bond. :) What do you think?

Excellent answers! Thanks for educating me on the "character" of James Bond. :) Unfortunately I can't decide who's answer is the best. I'm going to have to leave this up to a vote. Again, thanks for responding to my question. :)

I tend to agree that it took a little bit to get used to the new look of Bond, but Daniel Craig was amazing in Casino Royale.
Also, remember that this was a character that was created back in the 50s, and Craig actually looks more like the Connery version of Bond than any of the others. Lazenby, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan all focused on Bond as an upright Englishman, whereas Sean and Craig were both down and dirty.
Can't wait to see how Craig makes the transition to English Spy in the next film.

I totally disagree. I love all the Sean Connery Bond movies but I think that Daniel Craig is the best so far. Bond shouldn't be just a pretty face. He should have a manly ruggedness that neither Brad nor Clooney have. I think that this new guy plays the Bond character to a T.

I think George Clooney or damon would not have made a good Bond. Daniel Craig is good.

this bond is a really good and a throw back to the '60s. What I liked about it--well it followed the book so closely. But a blonde Bond I never had issues with.

I have not watched the new James Bond, so I don't know for myself how good a job Mr. Craig did, but seriously how can you say the man looks like a toad? I saw him on the poster with his tuxedo on and his gun in his hand and I thought he is absolutely gorgeous; that body, those eyes, those lips.

I think your going to main stream...and kind of funny all your picks are from oceans eleven...They picked this guy because they want to go with the books and follow a real storie line...in the books bond is more rough, man like, less pretty pretty boy. Plus it would be nice to have a actual british guy playing a british spy.
