Overbay is nothing special, hence he was never drafted in you league. McCann is the person of value in the trade.Since you already have Mauer I see no reason why you shouldn't do the trade. It would give you 2 of the top closers in the league plus you could use your surplus of SP's to swing a trade for a bat if you ended up needing to.

Since you have Joe Mauer at C
And you have two other quality 1b guys
it would be a good trade for you as well as him
but if you dont want to give up overbay you could counter offer him with McCann for Rivera(since this is the two key components of the trade anyways)

By the way, McCann has a much higher upside than Overbay. He is easily in the top 5 of all Catchers, Overbay barely makes the top 20 for 1B. Wait, saves are overrated and Contreras is old. Hitting will always be king in Fantasy BB.

I think I would counter offer a straight deal Rivera for McCann. I would be hesitant to lose Overbay and you really don't need another SP.

Take this commerce NOW. Rivera isn't having a good 12 months on the 2nd yet dont count type the Yankees out. There beginning pitching has been undesirable this 12 months, fairly some the starters have been on the DL and that's complicated to get to Rivera for a save. The Yankees will bounce decrease back. Make this commerce and later in the season you could commerce Frazor,Zumaya, or Broxton for a participant that may assist you.

Rivera and Contreras are good and you need a reliever. I don't think Overbay is very good but why would you want to get rid of McCann? He's great! Anyway, accept it!!

I would think you would be more protective over McCann. If you're OK with giving him up, than go for it! But let me warn you that a good catcher is hard to find, while first basemen are usually easy to find.
