How do you transfer a domain name to a friend?

My friend has a Yahoo Domain, and so do I. How does she transfer the ownership of the domain to me?

Go to the provider from who you got the domain name and ask or check their help file.Give the domain to friend and let him/her use it as if they where you,but it would be better to transfer through provider you purchased it from.
