For the money?
I have to go cheap myself.
But like you, I at least want my moneys worth.
Sears Craftsman on sale worked for me.
If I used it everyday, no.
But in my plumbing van when I need it once in a while, it sure has been a good one for me.
Like the above answer, if you need quality, go with Bosch

you in all probability recommend a hammer drill. An consequence driving force supplies you super torque, no longer reducing action. A hammer drill has a sawtooth ribbed plate interior that reasons the bit to be pushed into the artwork many times whilst the drill is operated. there is many times a swap to disconnect the hammer action and run as a common drill. numerous customer manufacturers are ****. I decrease back approximately 5 to the shop in the previous ending with a Bosch that keeps to be working (regardless of the undeniable fact that for the period of one the vibration sheared off a area in the digital speed administration). ought to be ok in effortless terms for 4 holes regardless of the undeniable fact that. (I had perhaps 50). With each and all of the effort, I ought to in all probability have sprung for a expert Hilti, or rented if i'm going to have achieved it multi functional day. individually, i would not get a cordless hammer drill, until eventually perhaps a sparkling Li-Ion sort. i might get corded. Busting concrete for a three/8" hollow takes skill. whilst i needed to drill holes in a rock in the direction of nowhere, i used a automobile battery and a 1000W inverter.

I bought a refurbished Hitachi from Drilling99 on Ebay. I have bought 4 Hitachi tools from them, including a hammer drill and have been very pleased. They have a Buy it Now for 34.95 with 12.95 shipping and an auction which ends in 1 day 18 hours for $8.57. I think I paid $17 plus shipping for mine.

i bought the hitachi from lowes for 80$ it does regular/hammer.. not bad for general use around the house. if your going to do alot of bigger stuff over 5/8" everyday i would go for a big boy. once a week stuff i would get the sds type. if your going to do alot everyday get Bosch
1-1/2 In. Electric Rotary Hammer $529.00 Another thing to remember.. check around local to see if there are repair shops near you. its nice to walk into a repair shop and have your tool repaired while you wait. I have a Black N decker hammer drill thats lasted forever and they have fixed things for me for free out of warranty. but that bosh is nice as is hilti
