there pointless?
there stupid & time consuming?
any more i should say about how stupid english papers are?
there worthless in our education?
waste electricity for using computer and printer? wastes papers and kills trees? what other stuff should i say.. i dont wanna waste my time answering this for 24 hours u get the point.. school generally suck balls

my senior year in english my teacher gage this big speech about how this paper was so much of your grade for the quarter and that no one had ever not done the paper and passed her class. back then that sounded like a challenge to me so i decided i wasnt going to do the paper and i never did i ended up getting a c for the quarter and passing her class with a b for the year she was so ticked at me she actually yelled at me and she wasnt the type of teacher who yelled looking back i realize how stupid it was especially since she made a note in my permanent record and colleges really dont care for things of that nature i got into a school but it definately wasnt my first choice even though my grades were good my sats were good and i had all kind of athletic participation i would probably beat my daughter if she pulled a stunt like that i got damn lucky my grades were so good that it really didnt hurt them to the extent i would fail the class but i really hated writing what i thought were meaningless papers about things that happened decades ago and to think that i ended up following a career path that involved lots of writing

I used to hate writing reseach papers because it took so much time and I was so lazy. After writing them over and over, I realized that it was so simple if I managed my time correctly and the only hard part for me was writing the first draft.

I'm more of a creative writer so I'm accustomed to none other than the limits of my imagination, so when I do a research paper it first frustrates me with its rigid structure and then puts me to sleep with its textbook-like tone.

I think it depends on what the subject is and how many restrictions or rules the teachers gives you. If it's something I like to write or talk about, of course I'll like it. But if it's something boring, then I won't really watn to write it.
