The president is not only wrong, but he is such an idiot that he shouldn't even be allowed to control the military.
He went there to solve his daddy's unfinished job.
Worse, he used 9/11 as a pretext to invade Afghanistan and Iraq and create even MORE victims.

All you republicans that think the war is good, this is the message for you:
Go get dead in Iraq you idiots.

I think the "surge" is a mistake. I think the president came into office with an agenda to finish the job his father started, and get the guy that tried to kill his father. I think we need to set a specific timeline for the Iraqi government to step up and take care of business, with a draw down of troop strength comensurate with that ime table. i think that if we don't do this, we'll be there for the next 10-15 years, and nothing will change in that country.

This is not the first question on the same issue.

Look the USA Constitution gave a wide power to President which can veto the majority voice.

So the President's move is unsupported by the majority of USA people.

Is this called best Democracy?

Bush doesn't care about polls, and he doesn't care about saving face. He's trying to save the middle east.

A US surrender is an option only supported by leftists and the terrorists, and by states that sponsor terrorism and fascism. Better believe that 24 hours after the Democrats in Congress force a surrender, the Persian Empire will be born and we'll all be riding our bicycles in search of food six months later.

He is not wrong, he is doing now what he did not do at first. Our President understands on an innate level how very important our mission is in Iraq, and Afganistan. If you think he doesn't know exaclty what he is doing then, all I can say is "Don't believe the Hype". Better we fight them over there, then in Boston,Ma. etc.

Yes, I think he is wrong, he has been wrong since the very beginning, when he lied to take us to war, however in order to keep the middle east in turmoil so as to keep oil profits high he will forge on for the rest of his term.
