A Mustang GT without my wifes approval. Seriously in July 2000 before we had children, I was a bit intoxicated and bored I guess and I decided to go and buy a brand new black 2000 Mustang GT convertible with a black top. I came rumbling into the driveway and I never will NEVER forget the look on her face, it was not good by the way. The car was sold once our first child was born (a year and a half later) and thankfully we are still married today...

Lesson learned? If you want something wait a few days to decide if you really want that item...

When I was a social worker, one of my mental health patients painted these really awful pictures. I wanted to encourage him to continue painting, so I offered him $5 or $10 for one of them. No problem, right? Except every time I saw him after that, he wanted to sell me a picture.

Oh, and all my co-workers made fun of me for weeks.
