There would be a bias, yes. However, I am not so certain it would be a deliciousness bias. I think they would administer sweetness tests. Based on a glycemic index. If they score low, they get imprisoned. If they are dry and whithered, they put them in a pot of boiling water and commit poly-saccharide. There would be a low tolerance for non-photosynthesizing and when they have a cellular breakdown, they can go to a protist level organization. Euglena is taking them in, I hear, and for a paramecium, they will let you get a low glycemic load off your chest.
