Here is a site to an indoor tropical nursery. It is located in Apopka, Fl. They carry various species of Calathea. Don't know if they have Calathea "Makoyana". If they don't, they say that there is over a hundred suppliers within a few miles of them.. go to the left margin and click onto the "contact" to get ahold of them...You can also look up Calathea by clicking onto the "plant search" link on the same left margin. The list will come up with Calathea on it. Click onto it for a pic... Good Luck!

Maybe you can find it in houseplants, labelled as "peacock plant"?

On Googling, it seems to be popular in the UK and australia, maybe because it likes a hot room.
