I ask because alot of people feel we are fighting an " imaginary " enemy " or a war with " no end " , so do you believe if the U.S. government blamed things such as wildfires and power outrages etc. on terrorists , it would get the American people more understanding of the threat we face ?

I meant even if the terrorists had nothing to do with it and I asked because more and more people don't believe the offical line , this might be a way to get them to believe that the war we are fighting is - real .

hmmm... good idea, but I think ultimately, you cannot lie to your people, even for a good cause.

The enemy is not imaginary, it is just that the enemies of the U.S. government are different than the enemies of the average American. In fact the U.S. government is an enemy of the average American, since the average American is working class and the U.S. government is a ruling class institution. The U.S. government doesn't consistently oppose terrorism, it has supported terrorism in Cuba.

If you really believe that we are fighting an "imaginary" enemy, your lights have been out a long, long time. If you think that the terrorist will not cut off power, gas, blow up grocery stores, kill Americans on sight, blow up our schools, and totally destroy the whole United States, then I think you need to have your light turned back on and see the light.
