How long did it take you to loose your baby weight. My daughter is 6.5 months old and i can't loose the last 10 lbs. I am breast feeding and i am hungry all of the time. I feel so unattractive.

I'm sure that you look beautiful...although the late nights, diapers and constant worry can take it's toll. I did all of the weight...finally...but when my son was closer to a year. Have faith it will happen. If you are breastfeeding it's natural to be hungry so don't worry about that, just try to eat healthy. Congrats on the baby.

I didn't loose the last ten pounds until I stopped breast feeding. And apperently that is very common. You may feel hungry all the time because you aren't eating enough to be breastfeeding, which also may be a reason your body is holding on to the last ten pounds. Just make sure that you are eating healthy, lost of lean protein fruits and vegetable - skip the butter and oil. Drink lots of water and try to get an hour of exercise (cardio) a day. Doing 15 minutes of cardio 4 times a day counts as an hour so break it up so you can fit it in. But don't worry about it. It will all come off in time and I am sure that you look beautiful!

my first i walked out of the hospital in my pre pregnancy jeans....my second took about 6 weeks so i thought i had it made.....number 3 took over 2 years and i had only gained 40 lbs........it was that last 10 that got me...with number 4 i have no idea yet, at 5 weeks post partum im still 20 pounds over my prepregnancy weight, but i gained alot due to preeclampsia and im older now that i was with the other 3....if the weather is nice where you are at try putting the baby in her stroller every day and taking a nice long walk. the exercise will help you and the fresh air is great for her also eat healthy.......other than that you have to just let your body do its own thing as for being unattractive, its probably just a combination of hormones and lack of sleep killing your self esteem im sure you are beautiful......and no matter what you look like your baby thinks your perfect and thats all that matters.

every woman is different. It depends on your metabolism and how much weight you gained during your pregnancy.

I was able to lose my pregnancy weight by the time my son was three months!! (wow!) but I only gained about 27 lbs total (and my son was 8lb 2oz lol) However, my girlfriend, who was pregnant at the same time I was, gained 70 lbs with her pregnancy and 10 months later she is still fighting to lose the last few pounds.

Don't worry. It WILL happen. Believe it or not, breastfeeding actually helps you burn an extra 500 calories a day! It's not safe to diet while you breastfeed, but try to make sure the food you are eating is rich in nutrients and "good fat" and stay away from simple sugars and desserts and the like.

Keep at it, and don't get down on yourself, you are someones beautiful mama!!

Hi! Please don't drive yourself nuts with this! It varies with every female, and with every pregnancy. With my first child, it took me like a month and I was back in my normal jeans. With my second baby, it took forever!!!! He is almost 2 now, and I still can tell a difference in my body. But don't worry about that. You are a mommy and that is beautiful!!! You will get back to the weight you want.....it may take some time but it will happen.

Congrats on your baby!!!

I don't want to discourage you but my baby weight wasn't all gone until my baby was about to turn one. Don't be so hard on yourself. I am sure you look great. Take this time to bond with your baby and love yourself no matter what. ;)
