In MY case, Happily Married, is an oxymoron. I was married, but never happily. I truly LONG to be "Happily Married" before I die, but the chances of that are slim to none, or so it seems. I refuse to ever get married again, if I can't be Happily Married, and if it's not FOREVER......I sure would like to experience THAT for once in my life. My wish for you, is the SAME!

For the two of you to have your own happiness while helping each other have continued happiness. I'm very happily married. I choose to be happy, and my husband just helps with it! You need to be happy in order to make someone else happy. That's all! Nothing huge!

You are not only lovers,friends, but you are life long partners. You know the meaning of your vows and when things get tough you dont give up you work it out. You do whatever it takes to make each other happy. Its a great feeling there is know one who can break you apart well except Carmen Electra thats what my husband said but I know one day the Rock is coming for me and well I will just have to smell what the rock is cooking. You can joke with each other,know when to be serious like your kids and home and when to play. You wake up every morning knowing you have each other to spend the rest of your life with and hopefully make it to see your kids grow and all their accomplishments. And best of all your grandkids I cant wait I will be a good grandma I love my kids they are my world. You do whatever it takes to keep each other wanting a reason to be there and if it comes close to ending find a way to get past it and if you cant then let each other go. But I dont have to worry I have it made and I dont plan on letting go anytime soon. You see marriages dont have to end there are some who know what its like to be really happy.

To me being happily married means that niether spouse is neglected because each should be putting the other first.

I forgot what it was like after I found out my ex was cheating. Before that I could tell you how great it was and how rewarding it could be. I could also tell you how special it felt to wake up to the person you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. Like I said I forgot what it was like.

I think it would be someone who would be there as your emotional support and always know that it times of crisis or even happiness they are "there" for you.
They are your best fan in life and do not ridicule or criticize you especially in public or in front of their family.
