It sounds like a joke, but I have honestly wondered this, so please humor me. Since you are attracted to members of your own sex, do you ever find yourself attracted to yourself?
Like, say you are fit and good looking, do you ever catch yourself looking in the mirror and saying "nice ***", or "I want to meet a dude who looks just like me". This has been bugging me for years.

I don't just mean conceit, I mean actual, sexual attraction to yourself.

Attraction is what one sees in another person and not in oneself. Any physical attraction that I may possess is only something for me to improve on in order to be attractive to another person.
Being attracted to the same sex doesn't mean that you are attracted to yourself (that is narcissistic); it means that you want to have a relationship with someone that you find attractive physically, emotionally, and mentally... and with someone who feels the same about you.
(There is only so much that one can do with oneself).

oh good grief! I've been seeing this same question at least once a day lately!
and, the answer is, no! just because someone is attracted to their own gender, doesn't mean they are attracted to themselves, nor does it mean they are attracted to everyone of the same gender! straight people aren't attracted to everyone of the opposite sex, now are they? no, of course not!
someone attracted to them self is conceited, stuck up, or narcissistic.

Funny!!! Seriously though, no. I think that I am an attractive person, but I have never been sexually attracted to myself. And none of my girlfriends have ever looked anything like me. Funny!!!

No, not really, I think that I can look really cute on occasion but I am not attracted to myself, and the most I would do to a girl who looked like me was give them a (friendly) hug.

I honestly do not. I think of myself as just a person, and as most people do I can appreciate if I look good or not, but never get turned on by myself.

I have not personally experience what you describe, but I know folks who are narcissistic and would declare themselves hot enough to date someone who looks just like them. Frankly, I can't stand narcissists, they are too self-absorbed.
Contrary to popular belief, everybody has body issues. Even the most fit and trim person will have something about their body they would like to change, such as bigger calves, or more definition, etc.

While I realize my hottest is seemingly irresistible, I somehow manage. What I wonder is how many more times this silly question will be asked and answered?

No, can't say I have. I mean, I like my assets and all, but I'm not a goddess to the mirror, no way.
