What about The Stand, the Talisman, the Eyes of the Dragon, and the entire Dark Tower Series (not to mention some short stories and maybe a few other novels that were set outside of maine...)?

That being said... Lisey's story... ugh... And making himself a character in the final Dark Tower books... ugh... I miss the old Stephen King.

I'm not saying some of his newer books aren't good. Black House and Bag of Bones were excellent.

Wasn't "The Shining" set somewhere else than Maine?

no, all his books aren't based in maine, they just normally mention maine or new england.
