I just got over what you have and I drank hot lemon water. Can't even tell you have a sore throat after. You can sweeten it with honey if you like but I just drank it straight. Trust me it will help your throat out a lot. To help you breathe easier, boil some water, and pour it into a bowl, put some vicks into the water, put your head above the bowl, and cover your head with a towel. Take deep breathes, and keep doing this for as long as you can. Really opens up the airways. Its like having a sauna for your head. Hope this helps. Feel better soon.

warm tea with honey, if you have a humidifier use it, or boil a pan of water (if you can add some mint flavor or vicks vapo rub it will help too), once the water has cooled a bit, stand over it and breathe in the steam, but be careful to not get burnt. I would try some allergy medications, it sounds like you are having some problems with that or sinuses, in which case a sudafed pe or something similar will help. Good luck.
(Also cough lozenges or some hard candy should help keep your throat moist.)

you need to gargle with very hot salt water. And after that immediately gargle with plain Listerine, and after that, drink some warm tea with honey, and a peppermint . I guarantee this method works. Do this twice a day. it will clear up in two days.
the salt opens the pores on your throat, and the Listerine kills the bacteria. The warm tea with peppermint and honey coats and sooths your throat, which will control your cough, without unnecessary medicine.

You need to increase your water intake. Also, try hard candy or sugar-free breath mints to increase your saliva. Sounds to me like you have allergies. Try over the counter Claritin to help control the throat, eyes, nose problems. I bet you'll feel better soon if you try these things. Good luck!
