No, they have an O-line and D-line that is getting older. They also have receivers that proned to problems on and off the field. Deion Branch was a nice pick up, but he is not a game breaker. Shaun Alexander is in his prime now, but he has a lot of wear and tear that could show its ugly head any year. Last year's injury season with the foot would be nothing compared to a bad knee. All in all, Seattle was not built on a solid foundation through the draft. Instead, Holmgren acquired players via trades and free agency that have now gotten older.

Short answer is Yes .
They have all there major pieces locked up to long term contracts. Hasselback, Alexander, Walt, Lofa, Peterson
Most of there problems last year where attributted to poor saftey coverage. (getting beat on the BIG play) getting rid of hamlin and bringing in russell and grant will take care of that.
They Have Hall of fame coach- good GM lots of talent. and while SF is getting better they still play in a fairly weak division in the weaker conference.
Seahawks are around for at least another 3-4 years

I agree. they also need to stop dropping the passes. Most of their games are lost from a dropped pass. the only real consistant thing about the seahawks are their defense. I love em and they have came a long ways. They can make it and this year they will. Go Seahawks.

Yes, last year they just had several disadvantages, the injury of Hasslebeck and Alexander, and the loss of their Pro Bowl player.... Also Jackson has had hands of stone and couldn't catch anything. But as to making it back to the Superbowl, I dont' know, even a team that goes undefeated in regulation could lose their first playoff game and be out.

They can't do it without a younger, stronger o-line (injury-prone last year), a healthy Shaun Alexander, and a new QB. Hasselbeck is okay, but Alexander makes him great. If they could get a good QB, Alexander would make him great, and if Alexander got injured, the QB could make up for it. Unfortunately, I can't think of a good QB to step in.
