ive never gotten my tongue ring stuck when kissing somebody else with a tongue ring.

At that time it would be eye time. My response would be to make sincere heavy duty eye contact with you and let your eyes tell me the next move.
BTW, you would never catch me "glancing " at you. More likely that you would "feel" me staring at you.
