Here's mine, from "Joey":

"What time is it?"
Said the judge
To Joey when they met
"Five to ten," said Joey.
The judge says, "That's exactly what you get."

" I wish that for just one time....you could stand inside my shoes...
And just for that one moment, I could be you...
I wish that for just one time....you could stand inside my shoes...
You'd know what a drag it is to see you.......

(From " Positively Fourth Street " )

Vey tough question.... impressed that you choose Dylan.. he has the ablilty to say convey in a line or two ,the emotion, depth of thought, a feeling, that many others need a whole book or song to get across.... I am just so happy that others realize what a gift he is to those of us who treasure words and emotions... I have been listening to Dylan since 1965 as a teenager... I think that you(probably) are considerably younger and am hopeful that you representative of a whole new generation of intelligent listeners......Thanks

Love that song, by the way.

Okay, here's mine (for now anyway):

"Drinkin' man listens to the voice he hears
In a crowded room full of covered up mirrors
Lookin' into the lost forgotten years
For dignity"
-Dignity (Greatest Hits Vol. 3)

"The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin'.
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'"
-Times They Are A-Changin'

All of the song Ballad Of A Thin Man: http://www.bobdylan.com/songs/thinman.html

"Does it take much of a man to see his whole life go down,
To look up on the world from a hole in the ground,
To wait for your future like a horse that's gone lame,
To lie in the gutter and die with no name?"
-Only A Hobo (Bootleg Series 1-3)

Okay, I have to put this one. It was my favorite song of his when I was little (along with Maggies farm), not that I really understood the meaning of it then....I liked it anyway and would sing it at parties! lol
"Oh God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son"
Abe says, "Man, you must be puttin' me on"
God say, "No." Abe say, "What?"
God say, "You can do what you want Abe, but
The next time you see me comin' you better run"
Well Abe says, "Where do you want this killin' done?"
God says, "Out on Highway 61.""
-Highway 61 Revisited.

It's hard to pick just one, so here is a few:

"One was Texas medicine,
The other was just a railroad gin.
And like a fool, I mixed them,
And it strangled up my mind.
Now people just get uglier,
And I have no sense of time."

"They say that patriotism is the last refuge to which a scoundrel clings,
Steal a little and they throw you in jail,
Steal a lot and they make you king."

"When you ain't got nothin, you got nothin to lose."

"I would not feel so all alone.... EVERYBODY must get stoned!"

lay lady lay, lay across my big brass bed
Stay, lady, stay, stay with your man awhile
Until the break of day, let me see you make him smile
His clothes are dirty but his hands are clean
And you're the best thing that he's ever seen

Stay, lady, stay, stay with your man awhile
Why wait any longer for the world to begin
You can have your cake and eat it too
Why wait any longer for the one you love
When he's standing in front of you

"Come in" she said
