what if people started saying " thats so *****!" . it wouldnt be view right. it would be wrong. I tried to spread this around to all the people i know. they have view this as a good point . i want to spread this to many more people. please do the same to. youll change many lives! :)

well you right about the ***** thing, but still i think what we mean by that isnt that its Gay, but that its weird or out of the ordinary. like when you here thats pimpin, pimps aint really that grate but the image that thay pertray is "cool" so bye Gay i think we may think of it as diffrent, wierd, not somthin you see every day. And down where im from we say " what tha gay" so we all may mean somthin else by sayin somthin.

I don't know....it's a space filler I guess. I have a habit of calling everything stupid, even when it's not really. Whenever I hear the phrase "that's so gay!" I immediately think of something happy and colourful because when when I was little, I learned that the word "gay" meant "happy", so I immediately think of something good, and don't think of it as derogatory. I don't think it's meant to be discriminating...more of a space filler. And the "that's so *****!" thing does make sense, but doesn't at the same time. I don't think it makes sense because ***** is a race and gay is not. Maybe you should replace it with "that's so straight!"....that might work. =D BTW, I'm not homophobic or anything...actually I think they're pretty great people, just like any other person. =)

im the mother and im always saying everything is gay, its different to say .*****. , im not discriminating, ive never asked a gay person if they thought me saying gay was offensive, if they r gay and proud, then why would they get offended? ive got nothing against gays, i actually like them and think they r cool, and i think the word gay is cool, its now a habit of mine, so i will ask a gay person next time what they think of the situation, seeya

you are so right. and lots of them are not homophobic, so i don't understand. it bugs me, especially since my friend's parents are lesbians.
