i want to start a merchandise buisness.?

has anyone had a bad experiance with companies like smc? is there a good one out there?

I am not sure of a good one, but I had a close friend that had a bad experience with smc. The merchandise was expensive and difficult to sell. I think the company sent her to a collection agency for some kind of fees.
