Some inks do expire. Because they do have liquid and all liquids do dry up. Printer inks take a little longer, but remember it's a mixture of chemicals that make up the ink and they may take longer than usual. My point is that did you ever here of a paint that you could hold onto for 20 years and still use?

confident, ink cartridges have an expiration date and it rather is often 2 years after manufacture. inspite of the undeniable fact that if stored sealed and at a classic room temperature, they are in a position to final for years. somebody i understand got here across cartridges 4 years previous their expiration date and that they worked merely effective.

ink never expires... it just dries if you never use the printer.
And the electronic expiration date in the cartridges is just another trick so you buy more from them.
****'em and refill your cartridges and next time you buy a printer, see if there is an easy and inexpensive solution to refill the ink before you buy.

They usually dry up close to the expiration date. They don't last forever. Don't buy a whole bunch of them and store them up.

It's not that the ink is "bad", it's just likely dried up.

it is not actually EXPIRED... it is just the evaporation period.. and it dries up.. but you can still use it if it is liquid in texture..
