RUQ contains liver, gall bladder and bile ducts, first part of small intestine (duodenum) and head of pancreas, the hepatic flexure of the large intestine (colon)

The lowest part of the R lung and the diaphragm are close by

RLQ contains colon - particularly the ileo-caecal junction where the appendix is. In women also consider the pelvic organs - R ovary, R fallopian tube

On the right in the retroperitoneal space is the R kidney - in the flank really, rather than in the anterior abdomen. The R ureter runs from the R kidney down the R flank and in towards the bladder.

Anteriorly, the ascending colon runs from the RLQ to the RUQ.

LUQ contains spleen, splenic flexure of large intestine (colon) and stomach. Tail of pancreas is here also. Transverse colon runs from RUQ to LUQ. L lung and L hemidiaphragm are close by.

LLQ contains Sigmoid colon, L ovary and tube in the female.

There is Descending colon running between LUQ to LLQ becoming sigmoid, and eventually terminating as rectum/anus.

There is a L kidney in the L flank/L renal angle with L ureter running down to the bladder.

There is urinary bladder in the midline between LLQ and RLQ

The great vessels of the abdomen run more or less in the midline and are towards the back of the peritoneal cavity.

In the female, the uterus is midline, between bladder and rectum.
