Not necessarily. If wearing shorts in cold weather makes you chilly and uncomfortable, the stress of that condition can weaken your immune system sufficiently to permit a latent infection to take hold and bloom. Generally, anything stressful can do the trick.

people boost a cold because of the fact their immune device replace into weakened on the time, and being chilly compromises your defenses. So sure, this is a possibility to get ill in case you place on shorts in that temperature. you're probably greater effective off donning shorts once you and your skin sense comfortable while uncovered (attempt distinctive temperatures). Temperature isn't the only ingredient. If there's a cold wind blowing, that could desire to weaken your device, too. merely examine the aspects till now you dress for the day.

You are not going to catch any sickness from being out in the cold, hypothermia is not a sickness. You have to be exposed to a pathogen that will in turn create the infection. the reason why people get sick more often in the winter than summer is because because are indoors and around more people more often. That makes the germs easier to spread.

Ok, that's really dumb. Sorry, but I live in a cold climate and 50 is totally warm to me, shorts and t-shirts are good. Besides, cold and flu viruses are just that, viruses, a germ. You can't get sick from just being cold. Your immune system can break down, but you would have to be soaking wet and freezing to "catch" the flu.

That's really common sense. It's because more cold gets into your system.
