It seems like the soldiers return a few at a time, I live in an area that has military personnel . I wonder if these men and women I see at the store... are not only serving our country now, but may have returned from duty. I would like to recognize them properly. they don't get the "ticker tape parade" they deserve.

Stop them, shake their hands and thank them. As a mother of a soldier, that is the best way to recognize what they do. There was a lady who's husband was in Iraq. My son just came home on leave and we stopped at the mall to get him some new clothes. (he was in uniform). She asked could she hug him, cried and thanked him for his service. It was very emotional. All a soldier wants is to know they are supported in what they have to do.

When my cousin came home his parents invited everyone to the airport. We made signs and my aunt got a ton of red white and blue balloons!! The local TV crew was there to interview him and when he walked out of the airport he let all the balloons go!! It was great to see him and we can't wait for him to come home again!! God Bless Our Soldiers!!!!
