Just because drastic changes occur, it doesn't automatically mean disaster like the politicians love to claim. Some places will become uncomfortably warm, but other places that are now too cold will become habitable. Some places that are now too dry will have more rain. It would be useful if the so-called experts would analyze the pros and cons of climate change, instead of screaming doom and gloom mindlessly.
People, and probably many other creatures, are instinctively afraid of change. It would be more sensible to learn and educate, rather than run around willy-nilly shouting that the sky is falling. It really isn't. Throughout the earth's history, climate changes have occurred. New species have become extinct, while others have appeared during the millions and millions of years before man appeared on the planet. With all this history of change, somehow man was able to emerge from geologic history. In fact, without the exact course of geologic events that form earth's history, we probably wouldn't be here today. So stop worrying and use your superbly created brain to think and analyze.

To tell you the truth I'm not worried about it at all. I know its happening and I support going green and everything. I've switched my light bulbs and tried my hardest to conserve energy. But I don’t think we will ever be able to stop global warming. There are too many ignorant people in this world to change it. I still have a little hope left in me of course. But innless governments step in and do some radical changes. Then I fear nothing will ever be done. And there will be another ice age and a whole new cycle of wildlife and evolution. Sometimes I’m not even sure if it’s us causing most of it. Because there are those that say solar fluctuations can explain a lot of it and that is how ice ages happened in the past. And they came on rather quickly but perhaps it is our fault it’s accelerating. What a cruel joke to leave up the most important issue the world will face to such an incompetent civilization as this.

Everyone should have an interest in global warming and the environment. Individuals and corporations can take action to reduce the impact of global warming such as energy conservation and reduction of desertification.
Global warming is a complex issue.
Reading the popular media can lead a person to conclude that "global warming" is:
o- either a hoax to promote business opportunities, politicians agenda and scientists grant money.....
OR
o- a problem related to overpopulation, industrialization and fossil fuels whose solution options lie in solar power, wind power, geothermal power and nuclear fusion....
However, the correct answer may be altogether different:
NASA has released never-before-seen images that show the sun's magnetic field is much more turbulent and dynamic than previously known. The international spacecraft Hinode, formerly known as Solar B, took the images. Hinode was launched Sept. 23 to study the sun's magnetic field and its explosive energy. National Aeronautics and Space Administration scientists said the spacecraft's uninterrupted high-resolution observations of the sun are expected to have an impact on solar physics comparable to the Hubble Space Telescope's impact on astronomy. "For the first time, we are now able to make out tiny granules of hot gas that rise and fall in the sun's magnetized atmosphere," said Dick Fisher, director of NASA's Heliophyics Division. "These images will open a new era of study on some of the sun's processes that effect Earth, astronauts, orbiting satellites and the solar system." Hinode is a collaborative mission led by
the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and includes the European Space Agency and Britain's Particle Physics Astronomy Research
Council. NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., managed the development of the Hinode's scientific instrumentation provided by industry and federal agencies.
>>> as regards alternative energy methods, I favor development of the technology for nuclear fusion using lunar Helium 3

That is a good question. I'm worried about it a lot,but you can't change it. No matter how many Al Gore movies you make or fliers or anything, the people who sitt their butts on the couch and do freakin nothing are still around. Lots of them. They are ignorant and will do nothing. I do all I can. I use nice light bulbs, I turn off the lights when I'm done, I save trees, but still global warming is out there and still will be. If you can get more people off their butts then there will be a chance. So stop reading this and do something!

after viewing the al gore documentary, global warming is scaring the **** out of me. instead of going through our "natural cycles", it will just stay hot until humans finally die off and stop CO2 emissions
