Can I set up a wireless network without hooking up the DSL cable into the laptop. There are 5 laptop users in my house and none of them want to be stuck at one place. Is there any wireless solution so that we can take our laptops around the house? Thanks a lot!

A good wireless router will do the trick. Try microsofts website for step by step instruction and for securing your connections. Also cnetdownloads has good instructions for setting up wireless connections.

get a wireless router. You can connect your DSL line to it and then the router to your desktop or just conect to the internet through your laptops from there. That way everyone can access the internet. Remember the more you have in the house online the slower the internet speed.
