There was an article written in our local paper regarding a Same Sex Male couple one was suing the other (property dispute) the reason for this hostile break-up was because one male found his partner to be having sexual cyber talk with women on the Internet and the other male felt he had been deceived, even though his partner had been monogamous with him..
Your thoughts?
The other post on infidelity reminded me of this article....

I do not think that chatting online or looking at pornography are cheating. To me, cheating requires physical contact with another person.

That said, it is possible that the partner felt the online activities were detracting and distracting his partner from the relationship. But that goes in any relationship. I know many women who refuse to allow their boyfriends and husbands to look at pornography for that reason.

The feelings of deceit bould also have been driven by the fact the partner was talking with women, potentially expressing a previously unknown bisexual side. And perhaps, since the chat was sexual, there is the possibility of taking an online encounter into realtime, hinting that future cheating may be just around the corner.

Relationships are hard, whether gay or straight. Boundaries have to be set and agreed to, and consequences of crossing those boudaries have to be dealt with, from acceptance to breaking up.

I don't know if cyber sex is an infidelity or not but I would be bothered by it. Watching porn and having fantasies is one thing, but when a person is acting in a sexual way with another person over the computer or not I have a problem with it. I have heard people say that bisexual and homosexuals are more promiscuous than heterosexuals. I really don't know. Maybe heterosexuals are better at keeping their sideline action secret.

Coming from a gay male, being 39 yrs old having two gay relationships, the first one was 9 yrs and the second was 7 yrs. I have to come to the reality especially gay men are more permiscuous, they also seem to be dishonest about there true inner feelings about relationships. You know we have no right to be married, and sometimes because we are thought of in such a inmoral way. We tend to react that way. Gay bars are full of any drug you want so that is a problem as well.

cheating doesn't just have to be about physicality. this could easily be interpretted as emotional cheating. this guy was desiring sexual acts and engaging in sexual communication with a woman, and he obviously did so behind the back of his partner, therefore it is cheating.

but is this really worthy of ending a relationship? i'd like to think not. but maybe there's more to the story.. maybe this guy intends to meet this woman in real life, therefore, putting an end to the relationship with his man.

bottom line, people from all sexual orientations are prone to cheating. it's certainly not just something gay men do.

I just want to know why he was cybering with a woman? is he gay or experimenting. maybe that's why the other person was so hurt. He thought he's probably going back to being straight. Doesn't make sense, either you are or you're not, it's like an accessory being gay sometimes.

i am sorry but i have to say that in the u.s you people sue others for the most bizarre things one can imagine...your lawyers and judges must be pretty bored to accept cases like this one, in my country the lawyer/judge would tell the accuser to go home, drink a hot glass of milk and sleep for a while

I do not believe cyber-sex is cheating any more than any other form of porn. Fantasy is fantasy. It just gets me ready for the real thing. Makes me hotter than hell to be honest.
