Yes! I really dislike it because sometimes I sing lyrics from the song. I think it's because the song sticks out in your head.
Try humming or singing a song you like when it happens.

some of the patrons where i play music are always goofing on me with the "mah-na-mah-na" song from the Muppets. well, i fixed them good.. i actually got hold of a copy of it and played it friday night. had the whole club rolling on the floor. now, God help me!, i can't get THAT out of my head for love nor money. however, at least i'm grinning while it runs through my head.

Quite often. usually from some comercial on tv and it drives me banannas, cause it gets stuck in my head. I've even tried humming something I know but the first one keeps poking it's self back in. Do you have a solution? Please tell me.

Yes!! It's very common. You don't have to like the song, but when someone close to you sings it alot, you might not even know that song, but you can find yourself singing it. (Expecially catchy songs)

yes. or songs for commercials. "mama keeps whites bright like the sunshine, mama's got the magic of clorox bleach".. lol and it always happens at the worst times, like in the middle of an exam
