I think many hockey and soccer players need to be highly conditioned they are in motion the whole game.

Baseball/ Football have overweight players.

Basketball can also be considered physically demanding.

Hockey, Basketball, Soccer, Track.

In Hockey you give it all until your finished.
In Basketball you have to give 100% a lot of the time or you get beat.
In Soccer you run quite a bit but there are times when you can rest. In Basketball you really don't get a break unless you play center on defense and you play zone.
In Track, depending on what your event is, it's very demanding as well, but overall its not. If you've never run a 200m dash, you'll about die or can't get your breath for 10 minutes. But in high jump...not so much haaha

All of this info. is from personal experience.

gymnastics. it is one of the very few sports which uses almost every single muscle in your body. it demands both strength and flexibility along with endurance and gracefulness.

plus, gymnasts are usually all-rounded athletes. they can do well at a number of different sports.
