The Crystal Gazer

I shall gather myself into my self again,
I shall take my scattered selves and make them one.
I shall fuse them into a polished crystal ball
Where I can see the moon and the flashing sun.
I Shall sit like a sibyl, hour after hour intent.
Watching the future come and the present go -
And the little shifting pictures of people rushing
In tiny self-importance to and fro.

- Sara Teasdale

Here are some choices, all the following poets are Modernists from the 19th century:

1. "Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost.

2. "old age sticks" by e. e. cummings

3. "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost

These are extremely short and all by the poet William Carlos Williams
4. "The Locust Tree in Flower"
5. "This Is Just to Say"
6. "The Red Wheelbarrow"

"Like the sun over the moon
my brains and brawn
are wasted on you fools."

My favorite haiku...
Sorry, no title but it's from the Nintendo game "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the 7 Stars."

My Grandmother loved the poem, yet i'm questioning about "until eventually I thirsted no more beneficial" because you do not ever aspect out thirsting in the first position. It flows real nicely inspite of the actuality that and that i love it too.

From another person, not one created yourself?

Hmmm....

I'm tempted to give you one of mine...I write them constantly on my MYspace....Here....my newest one...and rather short....

Fire burns, as skin crawls.

Lapping at my flesh like firey waves,

you crash.

Author: Kristina Jensen

It's appropriate....I swear. xDD

Oh...and mine has no title...erm.... -The Waves-? :P It seems you've gotten other replies...
