Well I am reading the book called, "Uglies." What is it about? I am about half way throught the book and I can't stand the suspense. Does she turn pretty? Does she turn in Shay? Answer please!

I hate to ruin the suprise. but yeah. she turns pretty cause she throws the tracker thingem in the fire at smoke and it sets off an signal for the specials to come find smoke.
awesome book.
I'd recommend reading pretties and specials afterwards.

If you're halfway through you probably already know what it's about. I hate to spoil the ending for you but If you really really want to know here it is. Though I don't recommend looking because it's an awesome book.

Yes, when she turns herself in at the end. Yes, she accidetally turns Shay in.
If you want a more detail spoiler of the ending, keep reading.
Tally goes to the rebel camp, and when she decides to stay, accidentally sets off and alarm. She finds out that the pretty operation changes the way you think and puts a lesion in your brain. The camp is captured but she and David escape. Tally and David go back to the city to rescue a few people. David's dad has died and Shay has been turned pretty. David's mom has a cure that she think will fix the lesion but it would be unethical to test it on Shay without her permission(which she won't give as a pretty). Tally offers to be turned pretty to test the cure. The book ends with Tally turning herself in. Then there is the sequal and the threqual.
It's been a while since I read it so pardon me if a detail or two is wrong

Go to the back of the book , the last couple of pages , you'll always find out what happens .That takes all the fun out of reading .
