Yes, it is actually more considerate.
I got a great game for you! Buy some infant diapers and put various chocolate bars in them, microwave them a bit to make them look like poop. The person that gets the most correct guesses wins a prize! I went to a shower that had that and it was So funny. Also get a baby doll and who ever diapers it the fastest wins.Give the mom to be any of the left over diapers, be sure to get newborn infant size though. Have fun! L

THAT IS AWESOME! Just make sure you have enlisted enough help to clean her house before and after the shower...she's pregnant and the extra stress can be a problem. If it is, you might consider a hall or restaurant near her home.....any way you look at it, you are a great sister...

My friend's sister just gave a baby shower at the Parent-to-be's house this week. I don't think anyone thought twice about it. It is kind of nice to not have to pile all the gifts in a car and unload them when you get home. They are already home!

If she says it is OK then do it. Just help her clean the house before and after. It might be better because a lot of people want ot see the baby's room. And she will not have to load up all of the gifts and then carry them into the house.

As long as you will be there for a while to do the set up and clean up and keep her from stressing I dont see a problem with it. Houses are small though.
