When I start up my computer, i can programs up but after a few minutes I can't. I get this message "This application failed to initialized properly (0xc06d007e). Click on OK to terminate the program" for microsoft works and "This application failed to initialized properly (0xc000000e). Click on OK to terminate the program" for just when trying to turn the sound on. I already tried doing a system restore but nothing happen

Go to Start > Run > type in "msconfig" and then go to the Startup tab. Review the list. Make sure you know what you are unchecking to determine which program is doing this. Uncheck the suspected program and keep trying till you figure out which it is. Then lookup the error codes doing a search along with the program file as keywords. See if you can find a fix. It may just be a matter of reinstalling a program. Additionally, a program does not have to be on the startup list for you to have it installed and use it. Is it always with the sound? Perhaps you have a corrupted sound driver. Try going to your card's manufacturer's website and downloading the current driver.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

try to reinstall XP window !!! you can download xp pro in many website....just free install
