Is she trying to pull herself along on her tummy at all? Many babies can be slow at doing this. If you are concerned I would speak to your paediatrician to make sure she is meeting her developmental goals.

Just give her time... :) My brothers were preemies (they were twins born 11 weeks early) and they were really delayed in their walking, talking, motor skills etc. But they caught up to their age level pretty quickly after they did catch onto things... You can always take her to see an occupational therapist (I think that's what they're called) to get him/her to play with your girl and try to pinpoint anything... But I think that you should only do that if you think something is REALLY wrong. I'm sure she'll be just fine... And also, you can just keep reinforcing her learning by doing things like sitting her up with your hand on her back, and then take it away slowly but keep your hand close enough to support her once she loses her balance, and keep doing that until she learns... And then with the crawling, even though maybe this sounds wierd... Let her watch YOU crawl and she can learn how to do it from you. And put her in crawling position and if she gets into her normal "rolling" position, don't let her roll... Pick her back up and put her in the crawling position again. So she knows that THAT is what you want her to do. And praise her when she does it even just a LITTLE bit. :)

Hello...you really need to take this up with her pediatrician. If she's not sitting yet she has hypotonia (low muscle tone) which could be benign and she will grow out of it, or there are other medical problems that could be associated with it. My daughter was not sitting up at that age and was rolling everywhere...we got her into see a neurologist and then geneticist around that age. In her case it was not good news (she has Rett Syndrome) but most often it is just benign hypotonia. Its better to have her evaluated now so you can get her into some physical therapy as soon as possible.

All babies start to crawl in their own time. Some children never learn to crawl, other start early. The sitting up part should have already happened though. I would mention this to the peditrician on your next visit. I'm surprised that the doctor has not mentioned this as an issue before. Please check out this web site: www.babycenter.com

I agree you should give her some more time. Every baby develops things at their own times.
If you are truly concerned I would take her to her pediatrician. Maybe there are some tests they can run. Hopefully a doctor can help ease your mind. :)

Give her some more time. She will get it. Ask her doctor if he is not worried then you shouldn't be. Try to give her more time on her belly.
