Check your local museum, they often hire education majors to lead seminars, and even help develop the exhibits and the education about the exhibits.
Also consider being an independent consultant, you could give trainings and seminars on things you know about to young professionals in education and childcare.
So many things exist, just look within your area of specialty, and your own interests.

Several jobs simply require a college education.
I always thought if I were to stop teaching, I would love to be a real estate agent.
Thus, it depends what your interests outside of teaching are and the demand for said interests.

I know a lot of people who used to teach and they are working different jobs. Look for anything that is interesting for you.

Have you considered specializing in a sub-field that would set you apart? ie. ESL?? You can do this part-time through a university/college or even on-line through some accredited institutions??
